Zhenmorntek Supplies Thermal Interface Materials That Meet Automotive Requirements

Jul 23, 2026

As new energy vehicles advance rapidly toward higher voltages, greater intelligence and longer range, the power density of in-vehicle electronic controls, intelligent driving systems and traction batteries keeps rising. Vehicles therefore impose far stricter requirements on the safety, stability, weather resistance and mass-production readiness of thermal interface materials than general industrial applications do. In response to the specific operating conditions and certification requirements of the automotive industry, Shanghai Zhenmorntek New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. has developed and mass-produced a full range of automotive-grade thermal interface materials, covering core products such as thermal gels, thermal greases, thermal encapsulants and potting materials and thermally conductive adhesives, fully meeting the standardized thermal management needs of new energy vehicles and their onboard electronics.

On core safety and performance, Zhenmorntek automotive-grade thermal interface materials all meet the high-voltage insulation requirements of onboard systems, with dielectric breakdown voltage, volume resistivity and other electrical parameters within specification, making them suitable for the safe operation of high-voltage electronic control modules. The entire range achieves UL94 V-0 flame retardancy, consistent with the fire safety requirements for traction batteries, onboard chargers, control units and other critical components, safeguarding vehicle operation in every respect. The range is also broad, spanning multiple levels of thermal conductivity, hardness and viscosity, and can be matched precisely to the gap dimensions and heat dissipation needs of different onboard applications such as traction battery packs, ADAS intelligent driving modules, OBC controllers and motor IGBT power modules, with customized formulation adjustments available.

Having focused on domestic development of thermal interface materials, Zhenmorntek has pinpointed the pain points of the new energy vehicle industry, applying automotive-grade standards throughout product development and production and moving beyond the limitations of general industrial materials to create thermal management solutions designed specifically for vehicles. Looking ahead, the company will continue to deepen its work in automotive thermal management, iterating on automotive-grade thermal interface materials and improving product reliability and mass-production readiness, so as to supply Chinese new energy vehicle manufacturers with high-quality, highly stable and highly compatible domestic thermal interface materials, supporting upgrades in vehicle thermal management and high-quality growth in the new energy vehicle industry.
